Agnes Whiten AM
Global Fair President
Agnes Whiten AM, President of Global Fair, is an accomplished leader and advocate recognised for her significant contributions to Queensland’s multicultural community. In 2018, she was honoured as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM), following her 2002 recognition with the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for her dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion.

With her extensive experience in governance, Agnes has served as Chairperson of the Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland and President of Diverse Cultural Communities in Queensland. A trailblazer, she was the first Women’s Adviser to the Catholic Archbishop, and has held leadership roles such as Founding President of FILCCA and Chairperson of the Logan City Multicultural Neighbourhood Centre, now known as Multilink.

She has served on the University of Queensland Senate and the Boards of the National Foundation for Australian Women. An engineer by profession, Agnes is a Life Member of the Society of Metallurgical Engineers of the Philippines.

Maria Judith Guillergan, General Manager of Global Fair, is a dynamic marketing specialist and a passionate advocate of community services who believes in the power of creative empowerment to bring people together.
Maria seamlessly integrates advocacy-driven solutions into her role while she holds director position at the Redland Community Centre and the Multicultural Community Connect Queensland demonstrating her commitment to community development.

Maria is also an active member of various organizations including the Institute of Community Directors Australia, Redlands Coast Chamber of Commerce, Graduate Women Queensland, Bayside Women in Business, Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland and the Business Chamber of Queensland.
